The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to memory corruption within the kasan_init_region() function in arch/powerpc/mm/kasan/kasan_init_32.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
