Description
This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-25515)
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. A local user can execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges.
2) Integer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-25516)
The vulnerability allows a local user to gain access to sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to integer overflow. A local user can trigger an integer overflow and gain access to sensitive information or crash the kernel.
3) NULL pointer dereference (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-31022)
The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to a NULL pointer dereference error in the kernel mode layer in GPU Display Driver. A local user can pass specially crafted data to the driver and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
