The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to memory corruption within the mlx5e_xmit_xdp_frame() function in drivers/net/ethernet/mellanox/mlx5/core/en/xdp.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.
