Description
This security bulletin contains information about 1 security vulnerability.
1) Race condition (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-48745)
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to a race condition within the mlx5_stop_sync_reset_poll() function in drivers/net/ethernet/mellanox/mlx5/core/fw_reset.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.
Remediation
Install update from vendor's website.
