1) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-36895)
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to memory corruption within the __uvcg_iter_item_entries() function in drivers/usb/gadget/function/uvc_configfs.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.
