The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a division by zero error within the drm_dp_bw_overhead() function in drivers/gpu/drm/display/drm_dp_helper.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
