1) Race condition (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-26698)
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to a race condition within the netvsc_device_remove() function in drivers/net/hyperv/netvsc.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.
