1) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-26853)
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to memory corruption within the igc_xdp_xmit() function in drivers/net/ethernet/intel/igc/igc_main.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.
