The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to an off-by-one error within the qla_edif_app_getstats() function in drivers/scsi/qla2xxx/qla_edif.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
