1) NULL pointer dereference (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-26796)
The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to NULL pointer dereference within the pmu_legacy_event_map() and pmu_legacy_init() functions in drivers/perf/riscv_pmu_legacy.c, within the riscv_pmu_ctr_get_width_mask() function in drivers/perf/riscv_pmu.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
