Description
This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) OS Command Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-37385)
The vulnerability allows a local user to execute arbitrary shell commands on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation when handling values for the "im_convert_path" and "im_identify_path" options on Windows. A local user with ability to edit the configuration file can execute arbitrary OS commands on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
2) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-37384)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote user to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data when handling list columns from user preferences. A remote user can inject and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
3) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-37383)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data when handling SVG animate attributes. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted email to the victim and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
