Description

This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Resource management error (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-5678)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to improper management of internal resources within DH_generate_key() and DH_check_pub_key() functions. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.


2) Path traversal (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-31978)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform directory traversal attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to input validation error when processing directory traversal sequences. A remote user can send a specially crafted HTTP request, export monitoring data and download files from the file system.
