Description
This security bulletin contains information about 5 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-26166)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in the Microsoft WDAC OLE DB provider for SQL Server. A remote attacker can trick a victim to connect to a malicious SQL server via OLEDB and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
2) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-21450)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in the Microsoft WDAC OLE DB provider for SQL Server. A remote attacker can trick a victim to connect to a malicious SQL server via OLEDB and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
