1) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-21451)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in the Microsoft ODBC Driver. A remote attacker can trick a victim to connect to a malicious SQL database using their SQL client application and execute arbitrary code on the system.


2) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-26159)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in the Microsoft ODBC Driver. A remote attacker can trick a victim to connect to a malicious SQL database using their SQL client application and execute arbitrary code on the system.
