Description
This security bulletin contains information about 6 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Improper Authentication (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-21899)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass authentication process.
The vulnerability exists due to an error in when processing authentication requests. A remote user can bypass authentication process and gain unauthorized access to the application.
2) OS Command Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-21900)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary shell commands on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation. A remote user can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary OS commands on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
3) SQL injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-21901)
The vulnerability allows a remote user to execute arbitrary SQL queries in database.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data. A remote administrator can send a specially crafted request to the affected application and execute arbitrary SQL commands within the application database.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to read, delete, modify data in database and gain complete control over the affected application.
4) Missing Authentication for Critical Function (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-32764)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass authentication process.
The vulnerability exists due to a missing authentication for critical function within the legacy_cgi endpoints. A remote attacker can execute arbitrary code on the target system.
5) OS Command Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-32766)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary shell commands on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the privWizard.cgi endpoint. A remote user can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary OS commands on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
6) OS Command Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-27124)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary shell commands on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation in within the authentication functionality. A remote user can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary OS commands on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
