Description
This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Deserialization of Untrusted Data (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-23114)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to insecure input validation when processing serialized data passed from CassandraAggregationRepository in the Apache Camel CassandraQL Component. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
2) Deserialization of Untrusted Data (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-22369)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to insecure input validation when processing serialized data passed from JDBCAggregationRepository in the Apache Camel SQL Component. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
3) Information disclosure (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-22371)
The vulnerability allows a remote user to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to excessive data output by the application when using a malicious EventFactory and providing a custom ExchangeCreatedEven. A remote user can gain unauthorized access to sensitive information on the system.
