This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Inefficient regular expression complexity (CVE-ID: N/A)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient input validation when processing untrusted input with a regular expressions. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application and perform regular expression denial of service (ReDos) attack.


2) Inefficient regular expression complexity (CVE-ID: N/A)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to inefficient regular expression complexity in attachment and data URL parsing when processing a specially crafted email. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted email to cause a denial of service.

The issue can cause the event loop to become stuck.
