Description

This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Incorrect authorization (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-45185)

The vulnerability allows a remote user to execute remote code on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to improper authority checks. A remote user can trigger the vulnerability to perform operations on the PC under the user's authority.

2) Improper control of a resource through its lifetime (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-45184)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to excessive data output by the application. A remote attacker can obtain a decryption key due to improper authority checks.


3) Improper control of a resource through its lifetime (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-45182)

The vulnerability allows a local user to gain access to potentially sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to IBM i Access Client Solutions key for an encrypted password decoded. A local user can exploit this vulnerability to obtain the password to other systems.
