Description

This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-45166)

The vulnerability allows a local  user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input within the piodmgrsu command. A local user can pass specially crafted arguments to the affected command and execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges.


2) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-45174)

The vulnerability allows a local  user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input within the qdaemon command. A local user can pass specially crafted arguments to the affected command and execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges.

3) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-45170)

The vulnerability allows a local  user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input within the piobe command. A local user can pass specially crafted arguments to the affected command and execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges.
