Description

This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Insufficient verification of data authenticity (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-42782)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient verification of data authenticity. A remote attacker can send messages to the syslog server via the knoweldge of an authorized device serial number.


2) Client-Side Enforcement of Server-Side Security (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-42787)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to a client-side enforcement of server-side security issue. A remote user can access a privileged web console via client side code execution.


3) Authorization bypass through user-controlled key (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-44249)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass authentication process.

The vulnerability exists due to authorization bypass through user-controlled key. A remote user can send a specially crafted HTTP request and read sensitive information.
