Description
This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2017-9765)
The vulnerability allows remote attackers to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. A remote attacker can execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (stack-based buffer overflow and application crash) via a large XML document, aka Devil's Ivy.
2) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-7659)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to an error in the HTTP cookie-handling component of Genivia gSOA it is used with a server application with the -DWITH_COOKIES flag enabled. A remote attacker can send a request that submits malicious input and cause the application to unexpectedly abort.
3) Integer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-13576)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to integer overflow in the WS-Addressing plugin functionality. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted SOAP request, trigger integer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
