Description
This security bulletin contains information about 5 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-43909)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data. The vulnerability allows users to embed arbitrary JavaScript code in the Web UI thus altering the intended functionality potentially leading to credentials disclosure within a trusted session.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
2) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-21426)
The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to perform service disruption.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the JAXP component in Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition. A remote non-authenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability to perform service disruption.
3) OS Command Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-43907)
The vulnerability allows a remote user to execute arbitrary shell commands on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation. A remote user can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary OS commands on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
4) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-21830)
The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to manipulate data.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the Serialization component in Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition. A remote non-authenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability to manipulate data.
5) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-21843)
The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to manipulate data.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the Sound component in Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition. A remote non-authenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability to manipulate data.
