Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Memory corruption (CVE-ID: CVE-2017-11468)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause DoS condition on the target system.The weakness exists due to insufficient restriction of amount of user-supplied content. A remote attacker can use manifest endpoint to trigger memory corruption and cause the application to crash.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerability results in denial of service.
2) Resource management error (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-2253)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to improper management of internal resources within the application. A remote attacker can send specially crafted requests to the "/v2/_catalog" API endpoint and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
