This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Protection Mechanism Failure (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-41984)

The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient implementation of security measures. A local administrator can bypass implemented security restrictions and cause a denial of service condition on the target system.

Note: This vulnerability affects only graphics cards sold between October of 2022 and December of 2022.


2) Improper access control (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-38973)

The vulnerability allows a local user to gain unauthorized access to otherwise restricted functionality.

The vulnerability exists due to improper access restrictions. A local user can bypass implemented security restrictions to gain unauthorized access to sensitive information or perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

Note: This vulnerability affects only graphics cards sold between October of 2022 and December of 2022.
