Description
This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-35390)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in .NET and Visual Studio. A remote attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted file and execute arbitrary code on the system.
2) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-38178)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in .NET Core and Visual Studio. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted input to the application and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
3) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-38180)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. A remote attacker can send specially crafted input to the application and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
