SB2023071182 - Multiple vulnerabilities in Microsoft Paint 3D

Description

This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-35374)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in the Paint 3D. A remote attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted file and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

2) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-32047)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in the Paint 3D. A remote attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted file and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
