Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-35315)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in the Windows Layer-2 Bridge Network Driver. A remote attacker on the local network can pass specially crafted input to the application and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
2) Information disclosure (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-32037)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to excessive data output by the application in the Windows Layer-2 Bridge Network Driver. A remote attacker on the local network can gain unauthorized access to sensitive information on the system.
