Description

This security bulletin contains information about 7 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Heap-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: N/A)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error within the rewrite_1d_image_coordinate() function. A remote attacker can trick the victim to open a specially crafted file, trigger a heap-based buffer overflow and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

2) Heap-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: N/A)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error within the vrend_draw_bind_abo_shader() function. A remote attacker can trick the victim to open a specially crafted file, trigger a heap-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.

3) Stack-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: N/A)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error within the set_stream_out_varyings() function. A remote attacker can trigger a stack-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.

4) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: N/A)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.

The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error in sampler_state. A remote attacker can execute arbitrary code on the affected device.

Successful exploitation of the vulnerability may allow an attacker to compromise vulnerable system.

5) Race condition (CVE-ID: N/A)

The vulnerability allows a local application to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to a race condition within the amdgpu_ttm_tt_get_user_pages() function. A local application can exploit the race and gain unauthorized access to sensitive information and escalate privileges on the system.

6) Security features bypass (CVE-ID: N/A)

The vulnerability allows an attacker to bypass implemented security restrictions.

The vulnerability exists due to improper implementation of the Adb wireless debugging bugfix. An attacker can bypass implemented security restrictions.

7) Security features bypass (CVE-ID: N/A)

The vulnerability allows an attacker to bypass implemented security restrictions.

The vulnerability exists due to an unspecified error. An attacker can execute unsigned code on enrolled devices via a modified RMA shim.
