Description

This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) XML External Entity injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-47950)

The vulnerability allows a remote user to gain access to sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied XML input within the S3 XML parser. A remote user can pass a specially crafted XML file to the affected application and view contents of arbitrary files on the system or initiate requests to external systems.

Successful exploitation of the vulnerability may allow an attacker to view contents of arbitrary file on the server or perform network scanning of internal and external infrastructure.


2) Information disclosure (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-1625)

The vulnerability allows a remote user to gain access to potentially sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to excessive data output by the "stack show" command. A remote user can reveal parameters which are supposed to remain hidden.


3) Resource exhaustion (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-25577)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly control consumption of internal resources when parsing multipart form data with many fields. A remote attacker can trigger resource exhaustion and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
