Description

This security bulletin contains information about 9 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Incorrect Regular Expression (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-40897)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient input validation when processing HTML content. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application and perform regular expression denial of service (ReDos) attack.

2) Resource exhaustion (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-25577)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly control consumption of internal resources when parsing multipart form data with many fields. A remote attacker can trigger resource exhaustion and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

3) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-23934)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass implemented security restrictions.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of "nameless" cookies. A remote attacker can manipulate cookie values for an arbitrary domain.

4) NULL pointer dereference (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-24736)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a NULL pointer dereference error. A remote attacker can use a specially crafted Lua script and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

5) Integer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-35977)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to integer overflow in SETRANGE and SORT/SORT_RO commands. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted input to the application, trigger an integer overflow and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

6) Integer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-22458)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to integer overflow in HRANDFIELD and ZRANDMEMBER commands. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted input to the application, trigger an integer overflow and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

7) Prototype pollution (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-24999)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted request and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

8) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2018-20801)

The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

In js/parts/SvgRenderer.js in Highcharts JS before 6.1.0, the use of backtracking regular expressions permitted an attacker to conduct a denial of service attack against the SVGRenderer component, aka ReDoS.

9) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-29489)

The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data. A remote attacker can trick the victim to follow a specially crafted link and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
