Description
This security bulletin contains information about 31 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-11023)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data when passing <option> elements to jQuery’s DOM manipulation methods. A remote attacker can execute arbitrary JavaScript code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
2) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-21248)
The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to manipulate data.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the Serialization component in Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition. A remote non-authenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability to manipulate data.
3) Spoofing attack (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-39038)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform clickjacking attack.
The vulnerability exists due to incorrect processing of user-supplied data, when REST API discovery is configured through the WebSphere administrative console Web Container settings to enable the API Discovery service, or through IBM WebSphere Application Server Liberty features mpOpenAPI-1.0, mpOpenAPI-1.1, mpOpenAPI-2.0, apiDiscovery-1.0, openapi-3.0 or openapi-3.1. A remote attacker can perform clickjacking attack.
4) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-35603)
The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to gain access to sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the JSSE component in Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition. A remote non-authenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability to gain access to sensitive information.
5) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2015-9251)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data when a cross-domain Ajax request is performed without the dataType option. A remote attacker can trick the victim to follow a specially crafted link and execute arbitrary text/javascript responses in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
6) Denial of service (CVE-ID: CVE-2016-10707)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service attack.The vulnerability exists due to infinite loop when processing attributes. A remote attacker can trick the victim to follow a specially crafted link and trigger the infinite loop within jQuery code.
7) Prototype pollution (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-11358)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary JavaScript code.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted input to the application and perform prototype pollution, which can result in information disclosure or data manipulation.
8) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-11022)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data in the regex operation in "jQuery.htmlPrefilter". A remote attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application that uses .html()</code>, <code>.append() or similar methods for it and execute arbitrary JavaScript code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
9) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-21293)
The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to perform service disruption.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the Libraries component in Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition. A remote non-authenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability to perform service disruption.
10) Path traversal (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-29425)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform directory traversal attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to input validation error within the FileNameUtils.normalize method when processing directory traversal sequences, such as "//../foo", or "\..foo". A remote attacker can send a specially crafted request and verify files availability in the parent folder.
11) Resource exhaustion (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-32640)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly control consumption of internal resources in the "Sec-Websocket-Protocol" header. A remote attacker can trigger resource exhaustion and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
12) Incorrect Regular Expression (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-3765)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a regular expression denial of service (ReDoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation when handling user-supplied input. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application and perform a regular expression denial of service (ReDoS) attack.
13) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-3807)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input when matching crafted invalid ANSI escape codes in ansi-regex. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted input to the application and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
14) Code Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-3918)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data during the validation of a JSON object. A remote attacker can pass a specially crafted JSON file for validation and execute arbitrary code.
15) Information disclosure (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-0235)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to the application follows the "Location" HTTP header redirect and passes authorization cookie to a third-party resource. A remote attacker can gain access to sensitive information.

Alternative Names. Node.js accepts arbitrary Subject Alternative Name
(SAN) types, unless a PKI

can bypass name-constrained intermediates and perform spoofing attack.
20) Use of a broken or risky cryptographic algorithm (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-22310)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform MitM attack.
The vulnerability exists due to usage of a weak cryptographic algorithms. A remote attacker can intercept and decrypt traffic.
21) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2018-25031)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. A remote attacker can trick the victim into opening a specially crafted URL to display remote OpenAPI definitions.
22) Improper Restriction of Rendered UI Layers or Frames (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-46708)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. A remote attacker can trick the victim into opening a specially crafted URL to hijack the victim's click actions and possibly launch further attacks against the victim.
23) Prototype pollution (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-21824)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service attack.
The vulnerability exists due to the formatting logic of the console.table() function. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted request and assign an empty string to numerical keys of the object prototype.
24) Improper validation of certificate with host mismatch (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-44532)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform spoofing attack.
The vulnerability exists due to improper validation of certificates, when converting SANs (Subject Alternative Names) to a string format. A remote attacker can inject special characters into the string and perform spoofing attack.
