Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Security features bypass (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-24830)
The vulnerability allows a remote user to bypass implemented security restrictions.
The vulnerability exists due to an error in iotdb-web-workbench. A remote authenticated user can create another user account without authorization.
2) Improper Authorization (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-24829)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass authorization.
The vulnerability exists due to missing authorization in iotdb-web-workbench. A remote non-authenticated attacker can gain unauthorized access to the application.
