This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Improper Privilege Management (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-22483)

The vulnerability allows a remote user to gain access to sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to improper privilege management within the CREATE and REPLACE commands. A remote user can gain access to sensitive information in some scenarios.


2) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-35637)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input within the db2expln tools. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted SQL query to the application and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
