Description

This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Improper access control (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-40196)

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to improper access restrictions. A local user can execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges.

2) Untrusted search path (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-38136)

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to an untrusted search path. A local user can execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges.

3) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-41342)

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error. A local user can trigger memory corruption and execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges.
