Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-24303)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to delete arbitrary files on the system.
The
vulnerability exists due to input validation error when processing
spaces in path to the temporary directory on Linux or macOS. A remote attacker can pass a specially crafted file to the application and delete arbitrary files on the system.
2) Resource management error (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-45198)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to improper management of internal resources when handing highly compressed GIF data. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted GIF file to the application and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
