Description
This security bulletin contains information about 4 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Security features bypass (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-41104)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to security features bypass in Microsoft Excel. A remote attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted file and gain access to sensitive information on the system.
2) Information disclosure (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-41105)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to excessive data output by the application in Microsoft Excel. A remote attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted file and gain unauthorized access to sensitive information on the system.
3) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-41106)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in Microsoft Excel. A remote attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted file and execute arbitrary code on the system.
4) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-41063)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in Microsoft Excel. A remote attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted file and execute arbitrary code on the system.
