Description
This security bulletin contains information about 4 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Improper Validation of Array Index (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-3121)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass implemented security restrictions.
The vulnerability exists due to improper validation of index array in plugin/unmarshal/unmarshal.go. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application and bypass implemented security restrictions, possibly leading to remote code execution.
2) Creation of Temporary File With Insecure Permissions (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-24823)
The vulnerability allows a local user to gain access to sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to usage of insecure permissions for temporary files. A local user can view contents of temporary files and gain access to sensitive information.
3) Code Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-33980)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted input to the application and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
4) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-35278)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote user to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data in the name of an address or queue. A remote user can inject and execute arbitrary HTML code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
