Description
This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Improper Privilege Management (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-30298)
The vulnerability allows a remote user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper privilege management within the GUI. A remote user with the ability to create files can execute arbitrary Python commands as root.
2) Path traversal (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-29062)
The vulnerability allows a remote user to perform directory traversal attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to input validation error when processing directory traversal sequences in the web API. A remote user can send a specially crafted HTTP request and write arbitrary files on the system with nginx permissions.
3) OS Command Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-29061)
The vulnerability allows a remote user to execute arbitrary shell commands on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation in Agent Password Field. A remote user can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary OS commands on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
