Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-35759)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in the Windows Local Security Authority (LSA). A remote user can pass specially crafted input to the application and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
2) Permissions, Privileges, and Access Controls (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-34706)
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly impose security restrictions in the Windows Local Security Authority (LSA), which leads to security restrictions bypass and privilege escalation.
