This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Unprotected Transport of Credentials (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-27023)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to application can leak HTTP credentials when following HTTP redirects to a different host. A remote attacker can gain access to sensitive information.


2) Resource management error (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-27025)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to the application silently ignore Augeas settings prior to the first pluginsync. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
