Description
This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-38955)
The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to a file creation issue in the AIX audit user commands. A local administrator can pass specially crafted input to the application and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
2) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-22350)
The vulnerability allows a local attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in CAA. A local attacker can pass specially crafted input to the application and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
3) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-38996)
The vulnerability allows a local attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in the AIX kernel. A local attacker can pass specially crafted input to the application and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
