Description
This security bulletin contains information about 4 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Information disclosure (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-21998)
The vulnerability allows a local user to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to excessive data output by the application in Windows Common Log File System Driver. A local user can gain unauthorized access to sensitive information on the system.
2) Permissions, Privileges, and Access Controls (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-22000)
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly impose security restrictions in Windows Common Log File System Driver, which leads to security restrictions bypass and privilege escalation.
3) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-22710)
The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in Windows Common Log File System Driver. A local user can pass specially crafted input to the application and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
4) Permissions, Privileges, and Access Controls (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-21981)
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly impose security restrictions in Windows Common Log File System Driver, which leads to security restrictions bypass and privilege escalation.
