Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Resource exhaustion (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-29469)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a regular expression denial of service (ReDoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly control consumption of internal resources, when a client is in monitoring mode. A remote attacker can trigger resource exhaustion and perform a regular expression denial of service (ReDoS) attack.
2) Improper Certificate Validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-31597)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform MitM attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to improper certificate validation caused by an error interpreting the rejectUnauthorized value. A remote attacker can perform a man-in-the-middle (MitM) attack.
