Description

This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-29727)

The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in OS kernel. A local user can can run a specially crafted program to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.


2) Security restrictions bypass (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-29801)

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to system does not properly impose security restrictions in OS kernel. A local non-privileged user can execute arbitrary code with root privileges.


3) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-29862)

The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in OS kernel. A local user can run a specially crafted program and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
