Description

This security bulletin contains information about 13 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-2326)

The vulnerability allows a remote privileged user to gain access to sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the Database Vault in Oracle Database Server. A remote privileged user can exploit this vulnerability to gain access to sensitive information.

2) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-2336)

The vulnerability allows a remote authenticated user to manipulate data.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the Oracle Database - Enterprise Edition Data Redaction in Oracle Database Server. A remote authenticated user can exploit this vulnerability to manipulate data.

3) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-2335)

The vulnerability allows a remote authenticated user to manipulate data.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the Oracle Database - Enterprise Edition Data Redaction in Oracle Database Server. A remote authenticated user can exploit this vulnerability to manipulate data.

4) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-2334)

The vulnerability allows a remote authenticated user to manipulate data.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the Oracle Database - Enterprise Edition Data Redaction in Oracle Database Server. A remote authenticated user can exploit this vulnerability to manipulate data.

5) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-2438)

The vulnerability allows a remote authenticated user to perform service disruption.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the Java VM in Oracle Database Server. A remote authenticated user can exploit this vulnerability to perform service disruption.

6) Resource exhaustion (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-7760)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly control consumption of internal resources when processing regular expression. A remote attacker can trigger resource exhaustion and perform a regular expression denial of service (ReDoS) attack.

7) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-2330)

The vulnerability allows a remote authenticated user to perform service disruption.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the Core RDBMS in Oracle Database Server. A remote authenticated user can exploit this vulnerability to perform service disruption.

8) Double Free (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-17545)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error within the OGRExpatRealloc() function in ogr/ogr_expat.cpp. A remote attacker can pass a large amount of data to the application (more than 10M), trigger double free error and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.

9) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-2333)

The vulnerability allows a remote privileged user to gain access to sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the Oracle XML DB in Oracle Database Server. A remote privileged user can exploit this vulnerability to gain access to sensitive information.

10) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-2337)

The vulnerability allows a remote privileged user to execute arbitrary code.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the Oracle XML DB in Oracle Database Server. A remote privileged user can exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code.

11) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-2329)

The vulnerability allows a remote privileged user to execute arbitrary code.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the Oracle XML DB in Oracle Database Server. A remote privileged user can exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code.

12) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-2328)

The vulnerability allows a remote privileged user to execute arbitrary code.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the Oracle Text in Oracle Database Server. A remote privileged user can exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code.

13) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-2351)

The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the Advanced Networking Option in Oracle Database Server. A remote non-authenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code.
