Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-36007)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the affected system.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. A remote attacker can trick the victim to open a specially crafted MP4 file and execute arbitrary code on the system.
2) Access of memory location after end of buffer (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-35999)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the affected system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when processing media files. A remote attacker can trick the victim to open a specially crafted file, trigger memory corruption and execute arbitrary code on the system.Remediation
