1) Permissions, Privileges, and Access Controls (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-26873)

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly impose security restrictions in the Windows User Profile Service, which leads to security restrictions bypass and privilege escalation.


2) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-26886)

The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in the User Profile Service. A local user can pass specially crafted input to the application and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
