Description
This security bulletin contains information about 8 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-13871)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error in resetAccumulator() function in select.c. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application, trigger a use-after-free error and crash the service or execute arbitrary code on the target system
2) Out-of-bounds write (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-15358)
The vulnerability allows a local authenticated user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
In SQLite before 3.32.3, select.c mishandles query-flattener optimization, leading to a multiSelectOrderBy heap overflow because of misuse of transitive properties for constant propagation.
3) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-15993)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error in printing. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted web page, trick the victim into visiting it, trigger a use-after-free error and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerability may allow an attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
4) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-15994)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error in V8. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted web page, trick the victim into visiting it, trigger a use-after-free error and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerability may allow an attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
5) Out-of-bounds write (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-15995)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when processing untrusted input in V8. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted web page, trick the victim into visiting it, trigger out-of-bounds write and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
6) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-15996)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error in passwords. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted web page, trick the victim into visiting it, trigger a use-after-free error and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerability may allow an attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
7) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-15997)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error in Mojo. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted web page, trick the victim into visiting it, trigger a use-after-free error and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerability may allow an attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
8) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-15998)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error in USB. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted web page, trick the victim into visiting it, trigger a use-after-free error and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerability may allow an attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
