This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Spoofing attack (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-1059)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform spoofing attack.

The vulnerability exists due to the Microsoft Edge does not properly parse HTTP content. A remote attacker can trick a victim to visit a malicious webpage and spoof page content.


2) Permissions, Privileges, and Access Controls (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-1056)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to the Microsoft Edge does not properly enforce cross-domain policies. A remote attacker can trick a victim into clicking a malicious link and gain access information from one domain and inject it into another domain.
