SB2020011425 - Multiple vulnerabilities in Microsoft Graphics Components

Description

This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-0607)

The vulnerability allows a local user to gain access to potentially sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition within the Microsoft Graphics Components. A local user can use a specially crafted file to trigger out-of-bounds read error and read contents of memory on the system.

2) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-0622)

The vulnerability allows a local user to gain access to potentially sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition within the Microsoft Windows Graphics Component. A local user can use a specially crafted application to trigger out-of-bounds read error and read contents of memory on the system.

Install update from vendor's website.
